I wanted to enquire if there are any Case Studies, Papers or other literature published or available detailing the emerging hazards and controls associated with underground BEV (LIB) Charging Facilities?
There is the Global Mining Guidelines Group (GMG) - RECOMMENDED PRACTICES FOR BATTERY ELECTRIC VEHICLES IN UNDERGROUND MINING document but I am interested in actual applications within the industry.
It will be interesting to know what practical controls are being recommended or implemented in the industry. These controls might include: ventilating charging facilities directly to dedicated return air facilities, thermal/CCTV cameras, gas detection (e.g. CO, HF, LEL), suppression systems, fire doors, battery management systems etc....
